MFT has just finished work with a national ad agency promoting a product launch from an iconic high-tech client. The shoot took place in Las Vegas and San Diego and went off smoothly. We'll fill you in on the details when the product is officially launched.

Clemmy's Ice Cream on National TV

With a quick turnaround due to a small window of opportunity, we produced a pair of commercials for Clemmy's Ice Cream that will appear during the Kraft Nabisco Championship on both ESPN and CBS. Jack N. Green, the Academy Award nominated cinematographer who is a long-time collaborator with Clint Eastwood, was the Director of Photography for this fun shoot. It's Good For Your Doggie

Healthy diets are not exclusive to people! Based in Coachella Valley, freshfetch is a company that creates all natural meals for pet dogs. MFT produced a TV spot for this innovative company that aired during the Westminster Kennel Dog Show on the USA Network. We also shot and edited a 3-minute promo video that the company is using for sales purposes.

Tennis Anyone?

When the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament rolled into town at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, Mercury Film and Television was hired by the tournament's broadcasting consultant, Covermax Communications, to serve up footage for corporate use, including player and sponsor interviews, tennis match coverage, event b-roll and sponsor signage.

Easter Bowl Rematch

Speaking of tennis. MFT has been hired for the second year in a row to produce the Easter Bowl highlight show that will air regionally on sports networks across the country, including the Fox Sports Networks. The Easter Bowl is one of the premier Juniors Tennis tournaments in the country that is played in Rancho Mirage, CA. The stars of tomorrow will compete for the coveted title of Easter Bowl Champion mid-April and MFT will be there to capture the action.

Presto!

Magician Dave Thorsen, a fixture at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, has a new set of videos produced by MFT to supplement his popular magic classes. Thirty videos, ranging from 40 seconds to 3 minutes, were created in less than two weeks and are just another shining example of how web videos are becoming an economical and effective way to communicate to a targeted audience.

Loving the Avocado

Mercury Film & Television was a finalist in the Avodisiac Video Contest sponsored by the Avocados from Mexico Growers Association. Although we didn't win the grand prize, we were honored to make the final round of 5 for judging. Our entry is titled, "Cupid" in the Most Entertaining category. It was a lot of fun making this 2-minute video!

Buying A New Home...and in Style!

Now airing throughout the Coachella Valley is the updated program for RJT Homes, "Welcome to Codorniz." The show tours the new home development in La Quinta, reaching out especially to the 2nd Home Buyers market. Included in the new show is a segment introducing Desert New Home Tours, a service that takes prospective buyers around new home developments in the desert region-- all in a limo.

Retiling "Your One-Stop Shop"

Mercury Film & Television is hard at work producing a completely new program for Flooring Innovations. New products, new locations and new services will be highlighted in this successful flooring store. Watch for it in January.

New Spanish Legal Show Going on Air

Mercury Film & TV has just completed a new legal program for the Law Offices of Caronna, Johnson & Hoddick, LLP. This new Spanish-language program will air in the Coachella Valley, El Centro, San Diego and parts of Mexico. The attorneys of this Rancho Mirage, CA-based law firm explain their practice while clients recount the successful resolution of their cases.

Vendors Join Jensens Finest Foods

It's a new season and Jensen's Finest Foods' half-hour program, "Gourmet You Way" now features some fantastic vendors. Baumann's Famous Swiss Dressing, Clemmy's Ice Cream, Fresh Fetch Pet Foods and Firestarter Vodka give viewers some tantalizing information about their products found in Jensen's locations throughout the valley.

Championship Week in the Desert

The Golf Channel Amateur Tour National Championship was held during the last week in September at PGA West in La Quinta, CA and Mercury Film & TV was there to help the Orlando-based network tape footage for sports show highlights and TV magazine pieces. Also during the week, MFT coordinated production for SkyCaddie's new TV spot airing nationally real soon. SkyCaddie is a pocket-sized GPS device that aids golfers by providing precise maps to each hole on a golf course.

The Red Carpet Rolls

Mercury Film & TV will be screening a preview of two TV pilots, Thanks for the Memories and Working For A Living. Saturday, September 12th, 2009 is the date at Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs, CA. Screening starts promptly at 10:00am so arrive early to get seated.

Put A Spark in Your Life!

Mercury Film & TV has begun work on a series of promotional videos for SparkPeople.com. This healthy lifestyle website has over 5 million members and is growing at a fast rate. MFT is proud to contribute to their success by producing HD videos that document this grass-roots movement towards healthy living and reaching tough goals.

Revolution in a Small Package

Speaking of innovation, MFT just covered the Enlyten convention recently convened in Las Vegas, including taping an interview with basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal. The footage shot will go towards future promotional videos and advertising. Enlyten’s products are the new way of delivering medicines, vitamins and nutritents to the body. Using dissolvable strips that go on the tongue rather than tough-to-swallow pills, Enlyten has started a mini-revolution in the health and fitness world.

Prost!

Mercury Film & TV is currently at work on Oktoberfest Across America. It's an hour-long show highlighting how Americans across the country celebrates the long-time German tradition with brats, pretzels, Bavarian folk dancing and of course-beer!

Moxie Project Winners!
